Junior General Hand / Light Assembly Worker

Advance Metal Products operates from modern facilities in Ingleburn (South-Western Sydney) and is an established leader in the highly competitive sub-contract sheetmetal component manufacturing market. The company also manufactures several product ranges of commercial and industrial storage systems under the Bosco Storage Solutions and Boscotek brands..

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Production team as a Junior General Hand / Light Assembly Worker on a full time basis (casual, hourly rate). The successful applicant will be a team player who is able to multi task and prioritise duties.

Responsibilities include assisting with manufacturing and assembly work, unloading containers, warehousing/stock storage, cleaning and other duties as required. Hours of work are 6.30 am to 3.00 pm Mondays to Thursdays and 6.30 am to 12.30 pm Fridays.

A trade qualification is not essential, however applicants with previous general hand experience in a similar industry or a manufacturing environment would be highly regarded, as will those with a forklift licence.

To succeed in this role you will need to show initiative and possess excellent organisational and interpersonal/communication skill.

Sheetmetal Worker – CNC Laser Machine Operator

Advance Metal Products (Aust) Pty Limited, an Australian owned and long established company, is a leading manufacturer of sheetmetal components. The organisation also develops and manufactures several commercial and industrial storage product ranges and markets these under the Bosco Storage Solutions and Boscotek brands. We operate from modern premises in Ingleburn, South-Western Sydney.

We require the services of an experienced CNC Laser Machine Operator to join our Production team (Day Shift). Normal hours of work are 6.30 am to 3.00 pm Mondays to Thursdays and 6.30 am to 12.30 pm Fridays.

Knowledge of Trumpf machines is preferred, however candidates with experience on other machines are encouraged to apply.

Supporting 2012 SWSi Awards

More than 300 graduates families and industry, government and community representatives attended the TAFE NSW-South West Sydney Institute’s Achievement Awards on June 6. The annual ceremony commended the good work of 16 students in their area of study.

Advance Metal Products was proud to sponsor the awards, showing their support for over 10 years now. This years winner was 22 year old Nadia Saliba, who completed a Diploma of Laboratory Technology (Pathology Testing) at Granville College in 2011. Ms Saliba took home the Manufacturing and Transport Award, and then it was announced that she was the winner of the Institute Directors Medal.

Ian Stone, Manager Director of Advance Metal Product and Institute Director Peter Roberts presented Ms Saliba with the prestigious Award.

Sales Engineer

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Engineer to assist with our national sales and marketing drive within our sub-contract sheetmetal component manufacturing division.

Reporting to the General Manager – Sales & Marketing, your duties will include:

Establishing and maintaining
relationships with new and existing customers;
Liaising with customers (internal and external);
Generating new business opportunities;
Assisting with quotations and tender submissions; and
Processing sales enquiries and orders.

Essential qualifications / experience:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline;
Previous experience in a similar role; and
Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving sales targets and identifying new market opportunities. Work experience in the sheetmetal manufacturing field would be a distinct advantage.

To succeed in this service orientated role you will need to possess excellent organisational and interpersonal/communication skills.

You will be able to demonstrate the tenacity to work in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment and achieve results by illustrating initiative and effectively managing multiple priorities in a team environment.
